Maunganui Bluff is about 160km northwest of Auckland, New Zealand’s capital. Collecting is among the rocks on the beach, best at low tide. There are a range of zeolites that have been recorded including levyne, chabazite, natrolite, thomsonite, analcime, stilbite, erionite, phillipsite, and cowlesite. Non-zeolite species, apart from siderite, include calcite, copper, pyrite, hematite, saponite, and manganese oxides.
